More Tee shirts, Late Nights, Harsh Lights, Festival. / Rhaogr o crysau t, Nosweithiau hwyr, goleaudau llachar a'r gwyl. - ADAM

Hey hey all.

Wow.. It's 1:17 on saturday morning... And possibly for the first time in over 3 weeks, my brain and surroundings are compeltely blank. Work overhaul. Yet I'm so excited - as I will be packing my car to meet Bud in the macs festival in something like 5 hours. Btw - I will be teaching Bud how to blog soon, so you can read something different to my overlong blabber. Since my last posting, me and Bud have shared many a late night getting ready for the festival, and our websites launch (www.boondoogle.co.uk). Which has finally come together. 9am in't morning till 2 the following morning have been our average working hours, and now all is set on the big weekend.

Our second teeshirts arrived! WAHH.. Exctiement. And posted below is some of the images from the shoot. Thanks to Catrin and Alex for volunteering their beautiful selves and whoring about on Cwmtydu beach in front of a Canoe crowd.

For now though, the teeshirts are packed, the badges are here, the '10% off next purchase' vouchers are printed, we have polaroid and digital, a few thousand flyers, staff members and a huge multicolour banner. It's time the Boondoogle wagon rolled into Gwyl Macs. Hope to see you there. Enjoy, Soak up the sun (fingers crossed) catch up with old friends and make some new ones.
All the best....

BOONDOOGLE PHOTOSHOOT / FFOTOS BOONDOOGLE - ADAM

Hey hey.

Monday saw the arrival of our first photoshoot, for the flyers and website (which is speedily on it's way). We ate plenty of Pizza, went through a lot of hairspray and got to see the BOONDOOGLE army of teeshirts take form. Good fun was had by all. A huge extra special thanks to both Gabi and Sion for stepping in for us at the last minute and a thank you also to Dwynwen for just being there! One big thanks to Rhys Thomas - who has the hair credits for all these images... Not forgetting Emma and Edd for lending a helping hand. Here's a sneek peek at some of the pics.

All the Boondoogle Shizzle. Popeth digwyddiadol Boondoogle - ADAM

Hey all.

I had my first blast of a 2007 summer festival yesterday in the form of Cardiff Metro weekender. Good stuff. Bud got to play around with the new polaroid camera we got for Gwyl Macs which is in one weeks time... We're running a competition - If we see anyone wearing our teeshirt - We snap them with the polaroid and they get entered into a prize draw to win some stuff. So come on everyone - grab a tee!

Living and working in Cardiff is interesting to say the least... There's so much to do apart from work. So after a fun (and late night) last night, I'm gonna be doing some work... There's so much to do! Bud's out getting her mac fixed while I'm here doing some promo and other stuff.

Our first tee shirts will be arriving shortly, which is mega exciting for us....

We'll keep you posted...

In the mean time here's some rather nice pictures of the sun soaked fun we had... Fingers crossed that the weather stays put for Macs.

Boo yah!

BTW - I've truly tested our teeshirts to the limit. I danced for hours to some hardcore dance (not usually my scene but hey!) and sweated A LOT... I also slept in the same Boondoogle teeshirt last night- and yet my teeshirt did not smell AT ALL this morning... That's the antibacterial quality of the bamboo working for you. Are you sold yet?

Gyda llaw - Bues i mas yn dawnsio am opriau ac oriau i cerdderoiaeth dawns hardcore neithwr - ac oeddwn i'n chwysu bwcedi - wnes i hefyd cysgu yn yr un crys T Boondoogle neithwr - a bore ma oedd y crys ddim yn arogli o GWBWL.... Na'r elfen antibacterial o'r crys yn gweithio i chi... TICK. Moyn un eto?

Welcome / Croeso - ADAM

Hi there earth warriors, fans, websearchers, artists and clothing wearers, here's the 'speel' if you ain't heard of us....

About us

Dillad BOONDOOGLE Clothing was founded during the summer of 2007 by us two like minded students, with the aim to provide what we felt was not being provided by the current clothing market. We wanted to make clothes that we would like to wear – not what we could choose to wear.

First and foremost, BOONDOOGLE’S clothing is Organic. We are extremely aware of man’s impact on our planet and the possible side effects of wearing chemically enhanced fibres against our skins. Through purchasing fairly traded and organic cotton/bamboo fibre teeshirts and combining it with interesting, new, quirky and often thought provoking print in eco-friendly inks - we aim to provide the alternative to what has become the ‘mindless clothing market for the masses’.

One of our promises – you will find no random number emblazoned on the chest of one of our tees.

We aim to spread hope filled ethos where Recycling, Reusing, Cutting down and simply not making it in the first place unless it is needed - are our foundation blocks.

So, we have Organic clothing, fairly traded and printed with high-quality eco-friendly inks – and yet our prices are still affordable (unlike most of our competitors who will herewith go un-named). Above all else, BOONDOOGLE believes that Organic living should be for all, not just those that can afford it.

Here’s to the earth warriors, the recyclers, the people who are doing it and to those who merely thinking about it.

As we ourselves are learning, from small acorns, big things….

Adam and Bud (Co-founders)

Shwmae. Croeso rhyfelwyr y byd, crwydwyr y we, artistiaid a'r rheini o chi sydd mond yn gwisgo'r dillad, co bach o 'speel' amdanom ni....

Yn gyntaf, ond yn bennaf mae dillad BOONDOOGLE yn Organig. Rydyn ni’n ymwybodol iawn o drawiad dyn ar ein planed, a sgil effeithiau posib o wisgo ffibrau sydd wedi ei ‘thrin’ yn erbyn ein croen. Trwy brynu crysau t cotwm/ffeibrau bambŵ organig, masnach deg a’i chyfuno gyda phrint diddorol, newydd, rhyfedd ac yn aml yn pryfocio meddyliau mewn inc sy’n gyfeillgar i’r amgylchedd - rydym yn bwriadu darparu’r dewis arall i beth sydd wedi troi’n ‘marchnad dillad difeddwl i’r torfeydd’.

Un o’n addewidion – ni fyddwch chi byth yn gweld rhif ‘random’ wedi ei thaflu ar un o’n crysau-t.

Rydym yn bwriadu lledaenu ethos gobeithiol lle mae ailgylchu, ailddefnyddio, torri lawr ac yn syml iawn ei beidio creu yn y lle gyntaf - yn sylfaen i’n gwaith.

Felly, mai gennym ni dillad organig, wedi ei fasnachu’n deg a’i phrintio gydag inciau sy’n gyfeillgar i’r amgylchedd - ond eto mae ein prisiau dal yn fforddiadwy (yn annhebyg i’n cystadleuaeth fydd o hyn ymlaen yn mynd yn ddienw). Uwchben popeth arall, mae BOONDOOGLE yn credu dylai bywoliaeth Organig fod i bawb, nid yn unig y rheini sydd yn gallu fforddio gwneud hynny.

Felly dyma nod i ryfelwyr y byd, yr ailgylchwyr, y bobl sydd yn gwneud pethau ac i’r rheini sydd wedi dechrau meddwl am wneud rhywbeth.

Fel rydym ni ein hunain yn dysgu, o acorns bach mae pethau mawr….
